My name is Giulio Carignano and I am a 19-year-old young Italian. I studied from the first year of kindergarten to the 3rd grade at the French school Jean Giono, I later attended the Massimo d'Azeglio classical high school in Turin, where I was a school representative for two years. After passing the very selective entrance test I am currently studying at Sciences Po Grenoble, one of the most prestigious political science schools in the world. Next year I will study abroad for a year at Trinity College Dublin in parallel with a second law degree at the Sorbonne in Paris. I am an optimistic person and passionate about soccer and politics. I am fortunate to have two brothers and a dog in my family, which has helped form my value for sharing and cooperation. One aspect that excites me is learning. I am always hungry for knowledge and love to acquire new skills. However, I do not limit myself to just learning; I also enjoy teaching. I am convinced that the sharing of ideas and knowledge is crucial for the progress and development of the world. I believe that everyone has something to offer and teach others, and it is in this spirit that I try to contribute to the growth of the people around me. Flessibilità, partecipazione, serietà nella leggerezza; questi sono gli obiettivi a cui aspiro. Insegnare (e imparare) è un percorso comune, un’associazione. Credo nella didattica, in quel legame che dovrebbe crearsi tra chi aiuta e chi viene accompagnato, e che non porta con sé solo il risultato del voto finale. Si lavora insieme, con gli occhi verso successi condivisi. E quei successi spesso esulano dal solo campo Scuola, per entrare in quello più ampio della Formazione. Sono più simile ad una studentessa che ad una professoressa; nessuno mi dà del lei, dimostro meno anni di quelli che già (ahimè o per fortuna) porto sulle spalle. L’aspirazione all’insegnamento alle volte ha assunto per me i contorni di una vocazione. Credo di poter davvero dare qualcosa di più ai ragazzi, rispetto a quello che tipicamente si ottiene a scuola.

Hi, I’m Linn. I have been tutoring in various subjects and grades for three years now. Mainly in English, Latin and math. At the beginning, I would like to know the level of learning and the problems of my students. We can then build on this in the following in order to improve the weaknesses. I work with the students to find tasks that fit their level. I am also happy to help with homework or preparation for tests. Before we start class, I always ask what the student is currently doing in class and if something is not clear or what we should work on in the lesson. I will then go through written tests again to get an idea of whether the knowledge is improving or on which points should still be worked.

Ciao! Sono Riccardo Ravasio, studente di lettere classiche all'Università di Pisa. Da 2 anni seguo ragazzi del liceo online per aiutarli a migliorare le loro capacità di traduzione in greco e latino. Durante le lezioni ci occupiamo soprattutto di tradurre, cercando di trovare un metodo che risulti chiaro ed efficace per lo studente, ma anche di capire cosa il testo antico voglia veramente dire, con un' attenzione particolare al significato e alla storia delle parole e alla resa italiana. Se necessario, affrontiamo anche una revisione della grammatica, quasi sempre prendendo spunto proprio dal testo di partenza. Sono pronto ad aiutarti per qualsiasi difficoltà, e ad approfondire le nostre due meravigliose lingue classiche!
