Hello! I'm Sumouli Chatterjee, a CELTA-certified English teacher. I was born in the Middle East and raised there and in Canada. I studied at international schools growing up, so I'm lucky to have gotten to know many people from different parts of the world. After having worked for 10 years in marketing, I realised that for many, English means merely translating from one's mother tongue. But it's more than that. This is why I got the CELTA certification with the objective of helping people become completely fluent in English. I love to personalise my lessons and adapt them to your interests, passions and objectives. I have a communicative and dynamic approach to teaching english, and I focus on the four linguistic skills- listening, reading, speaking and writing. By learning English with me, you'll be able to live and breathe English, instead of having to translate from your mother tongue language. I have learnt other languages like Italian and French as a second language. So, I completely understand the challenges of learning a new language and culture. I'm here to support you in every stage on the way to your fluency. Every lesson with me will be not only a learning opportunity, but a stimulating, interesting and fun experience, that will definitely help you feel confident and ready to face any situation.
