Hello! My name is Shaza, and I am a native Egyptian Arabic tutor based in Alexandria, Egypt. I have been teaching Arabic for nearly a year, helping students from different backgrounds improve their communication skills and gain confidence in using the language. I am committed to providing a supportive, fun and professional learning experience tailored to each student's goals. I hold a Master's degree in Digital Cultures from University College Cork in Ireland and a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. My international academic journey taught me the importance of cross-cultural communication, which is something I bring into every lesson. In addition to my teaching experience, I have completed professional training in online tutoring and earned a teaching certificate after successfully passing an assessment. This training helped me develop effective teaching techniques, lesson-planning skills, and student-centred learning strategies. I also gained strong communication skills while working with international clients from the United States and Europe. This experience taught me how to explain ideas clearly, adapt to different backgrounds, and communicate with patience and understanding. As a tutor, I value clear explanations, consistent progress, and a positive learning environment. My goal is to help students feel comfortable, motivated, and supported throughout their language-learning journey. My lessons are personalised, interactive, and designed around your individual goals. I teach Egyptian Arabic for real-life communication and can also help students who wish to improve their understanding of Modern Standard Arabic. My lessons focus on practical language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, pronunciation, vocabulary, and everyday expressions. A typical lesson includes a review of previously learned material, guided practice, and new content presented in a clear and structured way. I create customised materials for each student to ensure that lessons remain relevant, engaging, and effective. What makes my lessons different is the combination of language and culture. I enjoy introducing students to Egyptian traditions, daily life, history, and authentic expressions, helping them understand not only the language but also the people who speak it. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and building confidence step by step.
