Hello. Good morning, noon, and evening. Welcome to our Chinese classroom. I’m a young Chinese teacher just graduated from Beijing International Studies University, majoring in Teaching Chinese as Second Language. I have a Mandarin certificate and a teaching qualification. I also have experience teaching at an international school in Thailand. Most of my students are native English or Thai speakers. Some are mixed-heritage—their parent, grandparent, or relative is Chinese. So I’ve taught many kinds of learners. Now I teach online. I offer: YCT tutoring, HSK training and word usage, and Chinese language and culture, including stories and modern slang. For YCT, I mainly teach Level 1. Kids at this age have learned pinyin but are still new to characters. They can connect ancient script to modern words. I’ll help them read and write better. For HSK, I explain tricky words like “还是” vs “或者”, “一点儿” vs “有点儿”, and “快乐” vs “高兴”. I use real-life examples to make it clear. Finally, culture—my favorite part. We can talk about ancient arts or modern subculture terms. If you’re an artist or businessperson interested in Chinese comics or fan events, I can help. I’ll start with typing Chinese—we call it “电写”. Then, I’ll teach you online slang so you can chat freely with Chinese netizens. I’ll also show you polite ways to remind someone to finish artwork or confirm payment. That’s what I offer.
