My journey as an ESL educator began in 2012 when I undertook a volunteer internship at Genius Synapses in Bangkok, Thailand. During this role, I taught Jolly Phonics at the kindergarten level, fostering foundational language skills in young learners. Later that year, I continued my commitment to early childhood education at Excel Global School in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, India. There, I gained exposure to both Jolly Phonics and Montessori teaching methodologies, further honing my skills in creating engaging and effective learning experiences for children. In 2017 I expanded my reach by working remotely as a voluntary online tutor with EnglishWorks, teaching English to Brazilian and Taiwanese students. This role enhanced my ability to tailor lessons to students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. From 2016 to 2018, I served as an online English tutor with PopON in China. Beyond teaching Chinese students, I also held the role of Regional Business Representative in Africa, where I successfully recruited teachers for the company, showcasing my leadership and organizational skills. What sets me apart is my passion for education and my ability to adapt to various teaching environments, whether in-person or online. My experience working with students of different age groups and cultural backgrounds has given me the tools to connect with learners and inspire their growth. Additionally, my time as a Regional Business Representative demonstrates my ability to take on responsibilities beyond teaching, contributing to broader organizational goals.
