These lessons are designed for professionals and other internationally active adults who need to communicate confidently in real situations—not simply complete textbook exercises. You may need English to contribute in meetings, explain a technical process, give a presentation, communicate with clients and colleagues, write clearly or participate confidently in an international team. Perhaps you know what you want to say, but finding the right words, organising your thoughts or pronouncing them clearly holds you back. I am a British, Cambridge CELTA-qualified English teacher with decades of international experience as a maritime captain, hydrographic surveyor, engineer, ROV pilot, instructor and marine examiner. I understand the pressures of working across countries, cultures and technical disciplines—and the importance of being understood correctly the first time. Your lessons will be built around your role, objectives, terminology and real communication needs.
