Hello!
My name is Thierry, I'm from Yaounde, Cameroon, and I live in the Southwest region of Cameroon. I'm certified an ESL teacher. Equally, I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with Combined Honors in English and French, as well as a native speaker of the French language and also, English language as my second language. I'm passionate about teaching and sharing my knowledge with other people who are willing to learn, and equally, I like traveling, writing, sports, music as well as technology. I have worked for software companies as a web content writer, web developer, and graphic designer for the past 2 years.
I like to follow general events around the world so I'm interested to talk about any topic.
I have taught English for about 3 years both online and in-person with over a thousand lessons to people of different nationalities, cultures, and of all age groups.
At the beginning of each first lesson, I always like to know more about the various cultures, backgrounds, and experiences of my students to know them better and to understand their personalities in order to have a better interaction with the students. In addition, I equally like to find out if there is specific professional, study-related, or examination knowledge that the student is looking to gain and if there are specific vocabulary, grammar, or pronunciation topics that students would like to practice. After that, I then move on to more specific exercises, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation depending on the specific aims and interests of students.
