Hi! My name is Debbie and I’m excited to help learners discover that mathematics can be simple, fun, and enjoyable. I have been teaching since 2014, working with nursery and primary students and also preparing Common Entrance pupils for success. I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science Education, and my teaching style combines creativity, patience, and technology to make lessons easier to understand. What makes my classes different is that I don’t just teach formulas and rules — I help students understand the “why” behind maths. I use games, real-life examples, activities, and interactive discussions to keep learners engaged and confident. I believe every child can learn maths when it is taught in a way that matches their learning style. My classes are organised in a friendly and supportive way. We begin with a simple introduction to the topic, explore ideas together, practice with examples, and finish with fun challenges to check understanding. I enjoy teaching young learners, especially elementary and middle school students, and I look forward to helping them build confidence and a love for mathematics.
