Bonjour! Je m’appelle Flavy. J’ai fait un Bac S, Spécialité mathématiques et puis une licence en mathématiques. Je suis actuellement professeure de cette matière au collège. Je sais combien les élèves peuvent se sentir démunis dans cette matière, pourtant je suis persuadée qu’avec quelques clefs en main on peut facilement avoir la moyenne en math… voire exceller! C’est ce que je peux t’aider à faire. En sortant de chaque heure de cours passée avec moi, tu seras capable d’évaluer ta progression et de savoir ce qu’il te manque pour réussir ton contrôle. S’il faut revenir 20 fois sur le même concept, explique de 20 manières différentes… on le fera ! Mon but est de te passer les trucs et astuces pour comprendre ce que les professeurs attendent de toi. Tu n’aimes pas trop le côté abstrait des mathématiques ? Ça tombe bien :) On parlera en image, avec des dessins ou avec les mains!

Sono un ragazzo di 28 anni, diplomato al liceo scientifico ed ora sto facendo un dottorato di ricerca in ingneria elettronica/fotonica in Germania. Per il dottorato ho avuto ´onore di vincere una Marie Curie PhD Fellowship dall´Unione Europea. Offro aiuto nelle materie scientifiche ai ragazzi/e delle medie, superiori ed università. Il mio obbiettivo e´aiutare altri studenti nel loro percorso di crescita e comprensione delle materie scientifiche. Inoltre offro supporto per la stesura di report, tesine e tesi di laurea con il programma Latex. Il mio approccio è basato prima di tutto sullo studio della parte teorica, che è fondamentale per la piena comprensione della materia. Successivamente applicheremo il tutto a tantissimi esercizi. Naturalmente il mio obbiettivo è che lo studente faccia il prima possibile "a meno di me" e continui il suo percorso di studi in modo autonomo. Studenti che aiutano altri studenti :)

Bonjour, je suis prof. de physique chimie d’une vingtaine d’année d’expérience dans l’enseignement publique et privé. Je propose aux futurs étudiants en première année préparatoire, toutes sections confondues, une préparation exhaustive en maths, physique et chimie afin de bien entamer la rentrée universitaire. La préparation débute dès le premier juin et durant tout l'été. I'm an in-person and online tutor in mathematics at ALL levels, based in Paris, France. I received my PhD(doctorate) in in mathematics in the US (Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ), and held my postdoctoral positions in reputed institutions in France (Ecole Polytechnique, INRIA) and USA (University of California, Los Angeles). After my postdoctoral research positions, I've also worked as a data scientist in several companies in Paris, France. I love to share my passion for mathematics, statistics and machine learning with my students, by means of tutoring, seminars, talks etc. Besides mathematics, I'm also keen about about cooking, and happy to provide tips if needed. For people who needs lessons in French, I can actively try, as my French is intermediate (B2). I'm also certainly able to provide credentials and certificates upon request. I've extensive teaching and tutoring experience in precalculus, algebra, differential equations as well as many other subjects. I also studied and had great scores in GRE, subject GRE and other competitive exams. I'm well equipped with tutoring remotely. Having taught extensively for five years during my PhD (Rutgers University, NJ, USA), and having tutored numerous students privately, I'm very experienced in showing a student what (s)he needs to learn, and how to learn them effectively. For example, I motivate a subject giving realistic scenarios, focus on examples to learn a new concept, and also emphasize on charts, flowcharts and diagrams to get the gist is another of my speciality. I can teach from elementary level to undergraduate and some selected graduate level courses as well. I wrote many competitive exams en route to my doctorate, so I understand what it takes to prepare for them, and can thus help you in their preparation as well. I'm also an expert in typing in LaTeX so you can read the mathematical symbols easily, wherever applicable. I'm equipped with graphic tablets that I can use to give you lessons online.
