I am currently an undergraduate studying Biomedical science at university, and I have been tutoring students for the past 8 months.
As someone who was once a student, reaching for help in areas which I struggled with in my subjects was always a challenge.
Now I have the opportunity to support fellow students in a matter which would hopefully make them feel more confident in areas they find difficult or concepts they find hard to grasp.
I teach primary maths, GCSE Mathematics and Sciences, and I also teach A-Level Biology and Chemistry.
I aim to help students understand difficult concepts in a manner which makes them develop confidence in these areas, by introducing innovative methods for students to comprehend key information.
Since, I have already completed my GCSE's and A levels after 2017, my knowledge of the new curriculum is automatically up to date, and in addition to also doing a range of exam boards such as AQA, EDEXCEL, and OCR, my knowledge of exam boards and their method of examining is thorough as well.
I want students to have a tutor who listens to them and puts in the hard work so that they can succeed.

Le lezioni si svolgono online sulla piattaforma che lo studente preferisce ed a seconda della materia è necessario lo screen sharing.
Sono paziente e voglio insegnare allo studente le nozioni specifiche per il proprio obbiettivo per trovare insieme il miglior metodo, preparo il materiale in anticipo per sfruttare al meglio l'orario di lezione.
Sono disponibile anche per lezioni di gruppo, rispettando sempre lo specifico livello del singolo studente.
Oltre a richiedere materiale allo studente fornisco esercizi/ slides/ schemi utili alla comprensione o allo svolgimento della materia trattata.
Ho avuto esperienze anche con studenti per la preparazione a test di ingresso universitari (nozioni di biologia e chimica necessarie per test di ingresso a medicina).
Accetto anche lezioni della durata maggiore di un'ora ed eventuali consultazioni con altri colleghi per avere un'esperienza più ampia e soddisfacente possibile.
Mi ritengo adatta all'insegnamento ed al tutoraggio, non vi sentirete MAI nè inferiori né fuori posto né tantomeno mortificati.

I have been a physics and mathematics tutor since 2015, mentoring hundreds of students, up to university level. Usually, I stick to the following pattern: I start my lesson providing scientific and – possibly – historical background of the subject, making sure that the student has clear why we are tackling that particular issue. After a theoretical explanation of the subject at hand, we turn to the problem sheet. This tests and strengthens the comprehension of the student, and is thus a fundamental part of the lesson. Throughout the lesson, I put effort in involving the student, by asking them questions, by providing examples drawn from real life and by encouraging questions from his side. I believe that my first responsibility is to help students become independent in their studies. I am very easygoing, and I am sure you are going to be happy with my tutoring. Hello! My name is Yasmin, and I am passionate about helping students excel in their studies. With experience in teaching English and Maths to kids through voluntary positions, I specialize in Maths and programming, particularly Python. I can also assist with the basics of using Excel.
