I'm Genny, I'm 25 years old and I have a master's degree in Biology, obtained with honors. I am now attending a second level Master's degree in nutrition.
I am a responsible and cheerful girl, and my aim is to support students with an approach that integrates the scholastic one and takes into account everyone's individual needs.
I offer both help on topics covered during the school year and support for homework for elementary and middle schools, in scientific subjects and beyond.
I also offer tutoring in biology to high school students.
The lessons are based on understanding the student's difficulty, explaining the topic and providing full support in carrying out the activities, also giving the tools that allow the students to move independently in the future.
The focus of the support is therefore also on the development of skills!

I am a Mathematics and Philosophy (BSc) graduate and have recently become a Renewable Energy (MSc) graduate. I specialize in tutoring maths for all levels, and can optionally tutor English and sciences. I have tutored throughout my undergraduate degree as part of an organisation called Tutor Trust and for a year afterwards as a full time private maths tutor.
My main approach is to initially find out how the student learns best, and I will always focus on igniting an interest in the subject in the student. After that, I will then know more about how the student's mind works and adapt my lessons to cater for that. This will make it easier to approach more difficult topics - with the right method and an interest already there. I am also willing to set homework if it seems appropriate. Because I am still quite young (25), I am able to relate to students because I was in a similar situation not that long ago.

Difference between a professor and a “Good” tutor : -
So what is the factor which separates a “TUTOR” from your class professor?
Well, the answer is simple, it’s all about personalization. A professor can just read/teach the topic to the class and it's over. But for a good Tutor, it is just one of the many jobs he/she does. There are many things a tutor has to take care of: -
1. See the level of understanding of the subject by the student.
2. See the type of teaching the student prefers/loves.
3. See whether the student has an understanding of all other related subjects which are required for this particular course or not. If not, teach him about all the related stuff, which may be outside of the syllabus, but is extremely useful.
4. See if the student needs any advice on how to study, manage his/her time, what is the best method of study, the importance of the current subject, etc.
5. See if the student has other problems unrelated to academics, which is harming him/her, and guide the student.
So next time you see any tutor, compare his/her abilities on these parameters also.

Salve a tutti! Sono Giulia una studentessa magistrale di Chimica Analitica alla Sapienza di Roma, possiedo già una laurea laurea triennale in chimica e un doppio diploma di Liceo Linguistico italo-francese, questo mi consente di avere un amplio background che copre quasi ogni tipo di materia di insegnamento, sia essa scientifica, sia essa umanistica.
È da molto che sono nel mondo delle ripetizioni, ho affrontato diverse situazioni cin i miei alunni. Ho delle competenze per interagire, relazionarmi e poter insegnare anche ad alunni DSA, con dislessia ed altre problematiche.
Con gli alunni ho un sempre avuto un bel rapporto: come nella scuola, nelle ripetizioni frontali è necessario instaurare un rapporto di fiducia e confidenza con l'allievo, così si riesce ad arrivare con meno fatica all'obiettivo da raggiungere.
