Chemistry is my favorite subject, as I find it answering the questions regarding the processes occurring in our surroundings, like why leaves turn yellow in autumn and how we can preserve food. Anything that is known as matter and has a mass, comes under the realm of chemistry and can only be explained by it. Particularly, I like organic chemistry the most as I have done my specialization in the same subject. I am an organic chemist by profession. I love how the compounds made of just carbon and hydrogen, called hydrocarbons, make up to 90 percent of our body mass, this is why I opted for this subject for my specialization.
