Rahul
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. at IIT Kharagpur (India) while simultaneously working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering. This dual role has enriched my understanding of both academic research and the importance of effective teaching. Over the years, I have realized that the foundation of any discipline, especially in engineering and sciences, is rooted in a clear understanding of fundamental concepts—particularly mathematics. As a teacher, it is my mission to ensure that every student I engage with builds a strong and unshakable foundation in the subject.
In every class, I encourage active participation, ask questions that provoke critical thinking, and provide opportunities for students to explore the subject in depth. I pay special attention to those who are hesitant or struggling, offering them extra time and support to ensure they can keep pace with their peers. I do not believe in rote learning; instead, I aim to spark curiosity and a genuine interest in the subject.
In conclusion, I am not just teaching to complete a syllabus—I am teaching to shape future engineers, scientists, and innovators. By strengthening their foundation in mathematics and nurturing a problem-solving mindset, I hope to make a lasting impact on my students’ academic and professional journeys. With passion, patience, and dedication, I aim to be the kind of teacher who helps students discover their true potential and ensures they never forget the fundamentals they need for success.
