When find it essential, I would employ extra materials, and practices, including extensive listening and reading, shadowing techniques for listening activities, transcribing listening files, bringing a copy of collocation books to the class, and regular feedback, be it in class or outside classroom. I always strive to help my students love English, and not just pass some courses; I set it as a priority to keep them motivated in their language learning journey.
