My name is Veronica Cordido, I am a Medical Interpreter, Translator and ESL Instructor, as well as the founder of VC-Languages. I lead the day-to-day operations and also serve as the expert interpreter/translator and primary ESL instructor. I have been translating and interpreting a wide range of materials in English-Spanish-English since 2000, with my specialty as a Consecutive and Sight Interpreter in the Medical and Healthcare environment. I am passionate about advocating for the voiceless, making sure patients are heard and ensuring they understand their lifesaving treatment and unique medical conditions. As a certified ESL instructor, I have a special quality that inspires students to embrace languages and makes learning enjoyable. I take pride in facilitating the cultural exchange between different languages. I have a passion for being the bridge between two cultures and love my career, where I can use my talents and skills to help people in need. My love of languages began as a young teenager when I started learning English. I continued my study of the English language at Rice University in Houston, Texas. I then completed my Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages in Venezuela. Soon after, I obtained internationally recognized professional certifications in TESOL and Interpretations as well as a Translation Diploma from Berlitz, a premiere language institution. I'm a talented author and have co-written two books. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the United States as a teen. I currently reside in New York City, USA
