About me

Hi, I'm Simon! I am a London native living in Valencia, qualified for the Cambridge CELTA / TEFL. I teach all levels and ages, but I specialize in preparing students for Cambridge B1 (Preliminary), B2 (First), and Advanced (C1) exams. I have Oxford and Cambridge textbooks for each level, as well as past exam papers, so don't worry about buying books. My classes are mainly focused on conversation to improve fluency, improve pronunciation and learning idiomatic and colloquial expressions that allow the student to interact like a native and gain confidence. I studied English Literature at University and I have a love for the language that I will pass on. I teach writing, listening, reading, grammar, but I focus particularly on speaking. A very important skill that you can't learn from a book. I have many hobbies, including: art, movies and literature. I teach in English for an immersive experience, but can help in Spanish if needed.
