About me

Hi Students My name is teacher Vaan and I am from the sunny country of South Africa. I am a born native English speaker whom enjoys travelling and had worked in the UK, England. English is my mother tongue. I love and am passionate about English. I am an accredited 170 hour TELF teacher whom strongly believes that we are one team working towards the same goals. In my class, I always try to listen to papa when interacting with students. Papa did you say, yes you heard correctly. Papa is an abbreviation for Pro Active Participation Always. I truly believe learning should be fun and exciting, interesting and rewarding. I would love for you to become your best version, regarding English vocabulary, pronunciation’s, grammar, understanding the meaning of words and teach you examples of how, when, why and where to use words and sentences correctly and confidently. I use engaging material when teaching such as charts, pictures, objects and props to help with achieving the most value from your lesson. My goal is to teach you with integrity, instil clear and correct methods to help with improving your English and for you to reach your full potential when speaking and communicating with Native and Non Native speakers.
