About me

I am a firm believer in keeping classes (both face-to-face and online) as interactive and participatory as possible, using various media (news report videos or scenes from series/films that contain content linked to the material studied), news articles with the latest content currently covered in classes (often controversial issues to stimulate discussion); role-playing games, competitions based on the terminology and concepts studied; in short, treat my students as the professionals that they are. My classes are highly specialized in 3 different areas where I can best leverage my experience and skills acquired over the last 15 years: a) legal english - all areas of legal language are covered, both commercial (contracts, company, M&A, competition) and non-commercial (procedural/administrative; criminal, tort, etc.) b) corporate communication/business english - language of professional meetings; presentations; writing; networking; tax; finance and general business c) writing - both professional and academic writing with focus on emails, reports, essays, preparation of the written part of the First Advanced exam, etc. Below I'm attaching an example of a video of what an introductory-level of a legal english class with me looks like.
