Hi! My name is Paula Garlito, and I've got my bachelor's degree in Automation and Robotics Engineering at TU Dublin. I have over five years of experience combining technical knowledge with strong communication and leadership skills, especially when working with young students.
Math has always been a subject I truly enjoy—not just for its logic and structure, but because it helps us make sense of the world in an organized, reliable way. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students pass their exams but also to truly understand, enjoy, and feel confident with math.
My teaching method is based on clarity, patience, and real understanding. I avoid memorizing formulas without meaning—instead, I explain concepts in simple terms and provide plenty of examples. I always adapt to each student’s level and learning style, making lessons dynamic, practical, and easy to follow.
Thanks to my experience as a youth handball coach for children aged 6 to 12, I’ve developed a strong ability to connect with kids, keep their attention, and motivate them in a fun, positive way. I’ve also served as a class representative and student ambassador at university, where I’ve learned to listen, support others, and lead with empathy.
I speak four languages—Spanish, English, French, and Catalan—so I can offer support to international students or explain in more than one language when needed. I work well with primary and secondary school students, as well as adults who want to refresh or improve their math skills.
I have completed internships as a project engineer both in Ireland and Spain. These roles helped me apply math in real-world situations, which I now use to show my students why math matters and how it connects with everyday life.
If you're looking for a supportive, enthusiastic, and technically skilled tutor who can make math feel more approachable and even fun, I’d love to be part of your learning journey.
See you in class!
