About me

Hello! I am Olga Capdevila, an experienced English teacher with a degree in English Philology from the University of Barcelona. Alongside English, I also offer specialized Spanish and Catalan lessons for native English speakers. Whether you are looking to boost your everyday conversational fluency, master complex grammar, or strengthen your overall reading, writing, and listening skills, I am here to guide you every step of the way. With over 30 years of dedicated teaching experience, I understand the unique challenges English speakers face when learning Spanish or Catalan, as well as the nuances required to truly master English at an advanced level. My lessons are fully personalized to fit your specific goals, learning pace, and schedule. I place a strong emphasis on active communication, ensuring you feel comfortable, confident, and supported from day one. In our sessions, we will combine practical conversation with targeted skill-building, using authentic materials, real-life scenarios, and structured exercises. If you are relocating to a Catalan-speaking region, preparing for professional advancement, or simply passionate about mastering a new language, I provide a clear, proven methodology that yields real results. Language learning should be an inspiring and rewarding journey. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your language goals with confidence!
