About me

Hi there! I'm Teacher Nico. I originally graduated as a lawyer in 2015, but my passion for languages and cultural exchange led me down a different path. In 2017, I left the courtroom behind and set off on a life-changing journey to teach English abroad: I've spent over 7 years teaching in Chile and Asia: schools, universities, kindergartens and companies... I've done it all! With a TEFL-TESOL certification I specialize in communication-based classes, IELTS/TOEFL preparation & strategy, and creating supportive, comfortable and fun spaces for complete beginners to thrive. Everyone's welcome! Outside the classroom, I'm passionate about film, history, photography, literature, foreign languages, and of course, traveling! I believe that languages do more than connect people — they shape how we see the world, spark imagination, and enrich our collective experience of living.
