About me

Hello my name is Marilee, I am from South-Africa. I love teaching and working with students to becoming the best version of themself. I have a great love for animals, and the outdoors. I have a 150 hour TEFL certificate which I have completed through TEFL Universal. I also hold a 60 hour TEYL certificate, also completed through TEFL Universal. I have 2 years of experience in tutoring, I worked with children from the age of two till the age of twelve. I have completed my Bachelors of Commerce Degree in Management Accounting, although I did not pursue this career due to my love for teaching. I use a learner-centred method in my classroom and make use of TPR(Total Physical Response) to keep learners engaged. I will be honoured to help a learner to achieve their goals in mastering English.
