Michael

Hi, I am Michael, and I am fascinated by languages and world cultures. I have a master's degree in teaching English as a second language and over six months of applied experience teaching English learners in volunteer organizations and public schools. I turned to teaching after a 25 year career in auditing, information technology, government service, and higher education. My work experience concentrated on leadership roles managing teams and projects and communicating and managing relationships across multiple levels of an organization. I am focused on teaching adults learners the communication skills they need to success in an English speaking workplace. This may include how to run or participate in meetings, communicate via email or messaging, producing reports, or day to day interactions with colleagues. You should have a basic command of English before starting with me (A2 according to the CEFR). I love meeting people from around the world and helping them success with the English language!
