About me

Hello! I'm Megan, an English teacher from Hawaii (USA) currently living in Bilbao. As well as being a teacher at a prestigious academy, I have worked as an au pair for children, teaching them English during the summer. I have also taught university students in English in Italy and the United States. I speak Spanish and Italian and understand the challenges of learning a new language. I like to work using conversation and discussing topics that my students find interesting. I have also used games, songs and music with my students. My goal as your teacher is for you to feel comfortable speaking. Using a relaxed yet focused approach, I will have you speak as much as possible during class. I have a lot of experience learning languages and I understand the difficulties that come with communicating in a foreign language and I will help you overcome them using a personalized lesson plan.
