About me

Hi! I am a foreign language teacher and translator since 2009. I hold a BA in Translation and an Erasmus Mundus Master in European Literary Cultures in Italy and in France. I obtained the TOEIC, the TOEFL, the IELTS, and the CPE (C2 level). Why did I become a teacher? I was discovered at ten years old by my first English teacher at a public school in Brazil when I was about ten years old. She convinced my mother to pay for me to take English classes at a private language school. Seven years later, I ended up choosing my bachelor's program because of my passion for foreign languages and cultures. But although almost all of my education is on translation studies, I made my career mostly in teaching. Curiously, today I prefer teaching instead of the solitary routine of a translator. When it comes to teaching, the most important thing is to get in tune with the student, their interests, and their goals and make sure that each student has a specific course tailored to their needs. I adapt my methods and resources to the needs and objectives of the students. I mostly use English Grammar in Use and materials for preparation for English as a foreign language tests. *For the moment, I am only available to teach online. • How do I pay for the lesson?

At the time you select a lesson or package of hours, you will make the payment through our virtual payment service. You have two options:

Once the payment is settled, we'll send you an e-mail with the booking confirmation.

• Can I modify a booking?

Yes, something unexpected can always happen, so you can change the time or day of the lesson. You can do it from your personal area in "Scheduled lessons" through the option "Change date".

• Where are the lessons held?
