My approach involves an initial assessment of the student's level of proficiency, moving on to an analysis of the student's gaps, and then tackling together, in a methodical manner, suitable exercises to fill these gaps. If the student is approaching this language for the first time, it will be appropriate to start from the fundamentals (study of the basics of the language, accompanied from time to time by written exercises), and then move on to the more challenging phases of listening and speaking.
