About me

Hi, my name is Lewis and I am a TEFL Teacher. I have 8+ years of experience. I am happy and prepared to give English classes to all levels of English learners. My teaching method is a student-centred approach to learning. Upon meeting the student, I ascertain their needs and objectives and structure material and lessons accordingly to meet the student's desired goals. My teaching style is that of a demonstrator/facilitator. I base my classes on real subjects, as well as researched material that is relevant to the student, their interests and/or their targeted result. I always aim to have a positive, friendly, fun and relaxed atmosphere in class. I approach each topic by introducing and discussing it, encouraging the student to express what they know, think or feel all the while eliciting language use. After this, exercises and activities are centred around a particular grammar point, language structure and/or vocabulary. My interests are music, film, current news, technology, sport, the arts and video games!
