About me

Hello everyone! My name is Laura, I am Italian but for the past 15 years, I have been living abroad, in English speaking countries. I am married to a British Army Officer and thanks to his job, I am lucky enough to be traveling the world! I have a degree in Italian literature and Philosophy and I have the Qualified Teacher Status obtained in the UK. I have two PGCSEs, one International with Nottingham University and one in MFL Secondary, with Southampton University. I have been teaching Languages (French, Spanish and German) for the past 8 years. I taught internationally as well as in secondary schools in England. I have recently obtained the CELTA Cambridge qualification to teach English as a foreign language as well. My lessons are dynamic and varied. I use a variety of activities to engage every type of learner; visual, auditory, kinaesthetic etc.. My lessons always aim to develop all 4 key areas of language learning: listening, reading, writing and speaking. I have created and own a variety of electronic resources and I often use online platforms design to make language learning fun and engaging (Quizlet, Kahoot..) I really hope to meet many new students soon!
