Hi, I'm Julie and I'm a native English speaker from Scotland. 10 years ago I made the decision to move to Spain and now have over 5 years experience teaching children and adults English both online and in a classroom environment. I hold a TEFL certificate and also have a Masters Degree in History, combined with a wealth of experience working with people from all walks of life and all professions. I'm professional, reliable, patient and friendly. But most of all I like to make classes creative and enjoyable, no matter what the age of the student. The hardest thing to master learning a new language is having confidence when you speak, and I can help you gain that skill. I'll teach you the correct way to talk like a real native! During the class, we will only speak in English and we'll have a chance to practise reading, writing, comprehension, any area that needs to be improved. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or more advanced, each class will be aimed specifically at your level. With younger learners, I'll provide the basic English skills needed to build a complete understanding of the language. But the lessons will be full of fun and laughter too. Learning a language doesn't have to be torture! Adult learners will have the flexibility to guide where the lessons take us, we can concentrate on business English, conversation and discussion or we can a more structured approach to lessons if you're working towards attaining a specific level of English. Having previously worked as an employment advisor I can also guide advanced students through the job interview process in English and even help them write an eye catching CV in English. Whatever type of lesson you chose, our focus will be on helping you reach your goals! I always try to be very flexible with students in the case of changes to class times as I know life can be unpredictable. I do however appreciate as much notice as possible for changes in class times or cancellations in order to offer these times to other students. If classes are missed on a regular basis without the student changing the class time or making any contact then unfortunately in these cases I would have to charge for the missed class.
