About me

Hi, my name’s John, I have been living, and teaching English in Vietnam since 2016, I mainly teach at an English center in the evenings and over the weekends but have also been teaching online with an online teaching platform for over three years now. I am experienced in teaching all ages, from 6-year-olds through to adults. The main emphasis in my brick-and-mortar classes is on young teens to mid-teens. My students range from beginners to those preparing for IELTS speaking and writing, with a particular focus on speaking and pronunciation. Before teaching, I worked as a Mechanical Designer for over 30 years, but my passion now is teaching, which gives me a huge kick out of seeing the growth of my students.
