About me

Hey there!😊 I'm Helena, a Catalan, Spanish and English teacher. I studied translation and interpreting at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the postgraduate course in proofreading and linguistic advice, also at the UAB, and a master's degree in literary and audiovisual translation at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). Despite having worked as a translator and proofreader for a long time, I also have experience as a language teacher. I’ve been teaching Catalan, Spanish and English for years, both in academies and at home, in groups and privately (home tutoring). I like to approach the sessions according to the objectives and interests of my students, always taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of each one, to get the most out of the classes and make the learning experience optimal. I’ll be delighted to be your online teacher and help you achieve everything you propose to do in terms of your level.
