Hello, my name is Glaiza! My teaching experience covers a wide array of subjects, levels and venues. I have taught both children and adults. I have had the pleasure to travel and lived abroad, specifically in some European countries. This has given me an understanding of the challenges of traveling and living in a country where the language spoken is not your own. It has also provided me with first-hand knowledge of the language skills needed to live, work, or travel abroad. I have a passion for lifelong learning and strive to impart that on all of my students. I believe learning a new language should be a fun and enriching process. Throughout my teaching experience I have come to realize that every student is different, and therefore I tailor every lesson to meet the needs of each individual student.
I started my ESL career teaching in 2013. My very first job was teaching online English to Polish students for 2 years. Then, I worked for a Chinese company, Acadsoc, and I had worked there for 3 and a half years. Now I’m currently teaching in Preply, this is an online marketplace where tutors can connect with students and my students are from different countries and nationalities like Russians, Europeans, South American, and Asians. I am also doing a part time job in a French ESL company where I teach French business adult students.
My English specialties are: Basic, Intermediate, Business and Casual English. I can help prepare for exams in IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL; Children’s Lessons like Reading, Writing, Grammar, Speaking, Listening; General Conversation such as Free Talk English Conversation. Can I modify a booking?
Yes, something unexpected can always happen, so you can change the time or day of the lesson. You can do it from your personal area in "Scheduled lessons" through the option "Change date".
Where are the lessons held?
The class is done through classgap’s virtual classroom. Classgap was developed specifically for educational purposes, including many useful features such as: digital whiteboard, online text editor, webcam, screen sharing and many more. View virtual classroom
How do I pay for the lesson?
At the time you select a lesson or package of hours, you will make the payment through our virtual payment service. You have two options: - Debit / Credit - Paypal Once the payment is settled, we'll send you an e-mail with the booking confirmation.
