About me

Hi! I'm 27 year old and I'm from Italy. I have a MSc in Engineering Physics, while by bachelor degree is in Materials Engineering. I've been teaching and tutoring middle and high school students for 8 years now, both in Italian and English. Hi! I'm 27 year old and I'm from Italy. I have a MSc in Engineering Physics, while by bachelor degree is in Materials Engineering. I've been teaching and tutoring middle and high school students for 8 years now, both in Italian and English. I can teach Mathematics, Physics and Science and I'm available for big projects such as finals or middle terms, but also for homework tutoring or occasional help. I can give support for homework and exams preparation for Middle and High School students. I usually follow an approach based on three steps: 1) We get to know each other. Not only I have to understand what the students' gaps might be and what is its preparation, but also he/she has to feel comfortable with me and my methods. 2) I need to have a detailed picture of students' goals in terms of topics and deadlines. Then, we proceed developing a timetable. If the deadline is far ahead or the student is preparing for a big exam, the final goal will be broken down into smaller tasks. At the end of each "unit", I might, if the student finds it useful, prepare a test to fully check his/hers preparation before proceeding. 3) Each topic is theoretically explained in detail. The explanation is accompanied by useful examples. Once the student is confident with the theory, we proceed starting from basic guided exercises, incrementing gradually the difficulty level. After each lesson, the student is left with some exercises to solve by him/herself, which are checked and eventually explained at the beginning of the next lesson.
