I teach currently students from 7 years of age to adults from beginners levels up to C1 levels. I can help students with grammar, vocabulary, phonics, reading, pronunciation, listening, and speaking. Furthermore, I have a beginner 13-year-old student. We started from beginners' level. She improved so well that we are now on B1 level of vocabulary and grammar meanings and examples. We also do some spelling because I noticed she was struggling with it. I have a 14-year-old student. We did IELTS from the start to get her prepared to one day study overboard. I took her through all the steps, and working was on the most commonly used vocabulary of different topics, the meanings of the words, similar words she can use to answer questions in her own words. To identify keywords, synonyms, adverbs, idioms, and how to answer Yes or No. And give extra details, using connection words, and to give more information to her answer in her own words. How to identify a word they use in a conversation, but in the script, they use a similar word with the same meaning. And more. I did voluntary teaching, and now I've been appointed to be paid for adults in conversational English. We listen to audio, the student read the script out loud, and I note down the words where the pronunciation is incorrect. After reading, I show the student the words or sentence and the student repeat after me until he or she pronounces it correctly, if they are struggling, I break the word up, like in syllables and use also phonics to let them hear and see that letters may have different sounds in one word. Furthermore, I ask them with word or sentences they do not understand and explain them and give examples until they do. Besides, we move to vocabulary and grammar to fill in the blanks. I explain it first and then leave them to fill in the blanks or choose the right words. Afterward, again, I will show them why their answer is incorrect. Furthermore, they listen to audio and have to answer the questions in typing short sentences as answers in their own words. Afterward, I help them to get the structure, spelling, and more correct and show them how they can use some other sentences that are the same, but to say it differently in a sentence. They are from beginners to A1 levels. I did a few group classes with adults and teens. I also taught 5-year-old and 10-year-old boys, one on beginners level. Besides, with my patience, friendly, fun, and motivation, I get them to be engaged and switch tactics if needed, especially with hipper active young students. To get them engaged and always make sure to plan and design their lessons tailored to their specific needs and interests. In young students, I make sure to give rewards according to interests, like superhero's, dinosaurs, hello kitty, sponge bob or whatsoever and like to use animated and funny pictures in the lessons, to keep them engaging to wonder what the next reward, pictures will be. After each lesson I give feedbacks and homework if necessary. I give exercises and tests once a month to make sure if the student understanding the previous lesson material and if I need to change the lessons to get better results.
