Chess is a passion for me, I started learning it when I was a child and it has increased over the years becoming my profession as well. I was born in Ukraine where this sport is very much practiced and I first started studying chess there at the age of 7. It was in Ukraine that I earned my MC title. My family and I moved to Italy when I was still a child and here I have had success both as a chess player and instructor. In 2014 I became a Fide Master (FM) and in 2018 an International Master (IM). I am the Italian Rapid Champion and I have participated multiple times to the CIA (Italian Absolute Championship). In the last few years, apart from actively playing chess, I have been teaching it at various levels - from private lessons to being an istructor for the Italian Chess Federation. I have also been the instructor for the Italian U20 players at the world cup twice, first in Italy 2017 then in Turkey 2018. Gli scacchi sono sempre stati una passione per me, ho iniziato a giocarci sin da piccolo and la passione è cresciuta negli anni e gli scacchi sono diventati anche la mia professione. Sono nato in Ucraina, un paese dove questo sport viene praticato molto a proprio lì ho iniziato a studiare gli scacchi all'età di 7 anni. In Ucraina mi sono guadagnato il titolo di CM. La mia famiglia e io ci siamo trasferiti in Italia quando ero ancora un bambino e qui ho avuto successo sia come giocatore che istruttore di scacchi. Nel 2014 sono diventato un Maestro Fide (FM) e nel 2018 mi sono guadagnato il titolo di Maestro Internazionale (IM). Sono il campione italiano nella categoria rapid ed ho partecipato numerose volte ai campionati assoluti italiani (CIA). Negli ultimi anni, a parte giocare attivamente, insegno scacchi a diverse categorie - da lezioni private all'essere l'istruttore della FSI. Sono stato due volte l'istruttore/accompagnatore dei giocatori U20 ai mondiali, la prima volta in Italia 2017 e la seconda in Turchia 2018.
