Hello! My name is Ana and I am an English and Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher with a degree in English Philology and more than ten years of experience teaching students of different ages, levels and learning goals. I have also completed a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education Teaching and a Master’s Degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language, which has given me a strong background in language teaching, methodology and student-centred learning. Over the years, I have worked in private lessons, language academies and online teaching platforms. This has allowed me to teach a wide range of students, from teenagers who need support with school English to adults preparing for official exams, professional opportunities or personal improvement. As a Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher, I have also developed a broader perspective on how languages are learned and taught, especially when it comes to adapting lessons to each student’s linguistic background, needs and learning pace. My lessons are practical, structured and personalised. I can help you prepare for official English exams such as Aptis, Cambridge and Trinity, as well as improve your speaking, writing, grammar, listening and general fluency. In exam preparation lessons, I usually work with exam-style tasks, useful strategies, common mistakes, time management and specific practice for each part of the test. My aim is not only to help students pass an exam, but also to help them feel more confident and independent when using English. I believe that learning a language should be clear, useful and motivating. For this reason, I try to create a comfortable atmosphere where students feel confident enough to ask questions, make mistakes and improve step by step. I also like to explain grammar and vocabulary in a simple and practical way, always connecting the content with real communication.
