I am a RIBA Architectural Assistant with 6 years of professional experience in architecture and architectural drafting, specialising in AutoCAD and SketchUp for architectural projects. I offer beginner and intermediate tutoring, with lessons fully tailored to each student’s starting point, learning style, and goals.
My teaching approach focuses on helping students first understand the logic and language of AutoCAD, before moving into practical, hands-on exercises. You’ll learn how to create clear, accurate drawings and how to use them effectively within a 3D workflow using SketchUp. The aim of each course is for you to feel confident, independent, and efficient with the software, so you can translate your ideas into clear, buildable drawings and models.
I have experience teaching one-to-one sessions, including working with students with additional learning needs, as well as delivering small group tutorials and software workshops. I adapt my teaching pace and methods accordingly, whether that means step-by-step guidance, visual explanations, or project-based learning.
I can also provide ongoing support with coursework, portfolio development, or live project work - offering feedback, corrections, and guidance throughout the process.
