Hello! My name is Tammy, and I’m from South Africa. I bring with me over 20 years of experience as an English teacher, and I’m passionate about helping students reach their full potential. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching learners from all levels, cultures, and backgrounds, and each journey has been unique and rewarding. My teaching style is fun, engaging, and effective. I believe learning English should never feel boring or stressful—it should feel exciting and personal. That’s why I design every lesson around my students’ goals, interests, and learning styles. Whether you’re starting at A1 and taking your first steps in English or aiming for fluency at C2, I’ll guide you every step of the way with patience, encouragement, and expertise. I specialize in grammar, phonetics, vocabulary building, and conversation practice. I also help students with reading, writing, informal English, and preparation for international exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, and more. In addition, I offer lessons in business English, job interview preparation, and local English for everyday communication. My goal is to make sure every lesson feels useful, practical, and enjoyable.
