Hello! My name is Ina and I am a 3rd-year Computer Science and Engineering student, so I understand when some subjects are a bit complex to understand, and you feel like giving up. I will try my best to explain to you the concepts in a way that also helped me to grasp them when I learned them. I have over 1 year of experience giving online classes to high school and university level students. I like to organise my classes according to the needs of each student and I will be happy to help you achieve your goals.
I would be happy to help out regarding any Math subject, since I took 10.00 out of 10.00 at the International Baccalaureate (the final exam after finishing high school), and I also took 10.00 at a Calculus exam in the first year of university, and some other higher grades (over 9) at different courses (such as Linear Algebra). Therefore, I fell most confident teaching highschool material and middle school material.
Furthermore, I can also help in teaching the basics of programming for people who would wish to learn. I know a few languages, and I will explain my level of knowledge below.
C++
- in high school, I studied C++ for 3 years and I also picked Informatics ( or Computer Science) exam for the International Baccalaureate, where I got a grade of 9.40 out of 10.00.
Java
- during university, I had learned Java, and I have built some projects and programs written in Java for several courses (a campus management system)
- I worked a bit with Python (a hangman game for a high school project) but I am still learning, so I do not feel that confident yet to teach this language yet
For the non-programming languages, I will list them here:
- I had some database courses where I studied SQL (PostgreSQL) and Cypher (declarative graph query language used in Neo4j)
- I also had a game where I used HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but I am not confident in teaching these languages as I am not so used to them yet
Therefore, for the ones who are interested in programming, I can explain to you the basic of either Java, C++, SQL or Cypher.
Of course, you can also message me and we can discuss which subjects you would like to learn the best!
