I am Alberto De Claraval — a published author from Chile and a writing mentor. Three books completed: a memoir, an epistolary novel, and a children's series. I know what it costs to start a story, sustain it through the difficult middle, and actually finish it. That is what I bring into every session. My specialty is the beginning. That moment when you have a story living inside you but no idea how to get it onto the page. When the blank document feels bigger than the idea. When you have started three times and stopped three times and still believe, somehow, that the story is worth telling. That is exactly where I work. I work with writers at every stage — but if you are standing at the very start, looking at a blank page: that is where I feel most at home.
