Hi there,
I can offer you tutoring in geography, ecology, or related subjects, as well as maths, with specialisation in Physical Geography. Working together, we can figure out how much you’d like me to lead the sessions, from preparing exam materials for practicing to structuring your revision, or whether you would like to bring specific queries to me and we can work through them - or both!
With previous experience tutoring a maths student and a biology student, I recognise the value in keeping sessions varied and interesting. Sessions often involved progressing through exam questions by first talking about how you could answer them, with me asking guiding questions or giving hints, to totally independent answering of the questions, finishing by marking them with the mark scheme together. Alternatively, a session could follow a similar structure to a school lesson, but with more time to pause and go over any misunderstandings. Of course, these are just examples; I will be tailoring your sessions to you - I aim to be as flexible as you’d like.
Currently, I am enjoying studying Environmental Science at the University of Birmingham in my final year; previously to which I received A*s in A-level Geography and Biology, an A in Mathematics and a B in Further Mathematics A-levels. I’m happy to teach your exam board - just let me know what it is and I’ll familiarise myself - my background should give me the knowledge and understanding of the key content.

I have 13+years of experience in the engineering industry where I became an expert in my field (mechatronics for specialist machinery) that lead me to become involved in tutoring and teaching over the past several years. I have since also returned to university to fulfil a lifelong dream of mine and study maths & physics. This has put me back squarely in the midst of studying and exam preparation.
