Soy música desde que tengo memoria (¡mis padres son músicos!). Estudié piano, guitarra y canto en tres conservatorios (Manuel de Falla, UNA y actualmente en la UNSAM), con profesores particulares y realicé seminarios intensivos de improvisación, composición e interpretación. Ejerzo la docencia desde hace 10 años de manera particular, grupal, independiente y en instituciones. He trabajado con personas de todas las edades y he encontrado cada experiencia única y de mucho aprendizaje como docente Aparte de la docencia, soy música profesional: tengo dos discos editados con grupos y canciones solistas publicadas. He participado del festival "Cosquín" y realicé conciertos en algunas de las salas de más renombre en Buenos Aires (Luna Park, CCK, Usina del Arte, CCR, Anfi del Parque Centenario, Teatro Avenida, etc). Si bien siempre me adapto a la búsqueda de cada alumno, creo que la tarea del músico es integral: la técnica, el repertorio, la interpretación, la lecto-escritura, la composición, la impovisación y el lenguaje musical están constantemente en contacto e intercambio. En las clases abordamos el repertorio a trabajar, realizamos ejercicios de acuerdo a los desafíos que van apareciendo, componemos, improvisamos, escuchamos y analizamos música, aprendemos a escribir y comprender partituras, nos grabamos, etc. Aparte de la clase, ofrezco material personalizado: partituras, videos y textos explicativos; además, ofrezco mi contacto personal para consultas entre clase y clase. Si las clases tienen como objetivo el ingreso a conservatorios o academias musicales, realizamos un cronograma fijo de actividades para abordar todo el contenido de los exámenes de una manera orgánica. Hi, I'm Danny. I started playing guitar at 11, and started getting gigs/recording music at 15. Since then, I've played with a variety of bands and musicians including well-known artists such as John Baggott (Robert Plant, Massive Attack, Portishead), Rob Mazurek (Exploding Star Orchestra, Chicago Underground, Pharoah Sanders), Little Ed (Chicago Blues star), Smilin' Bobby (Chicago Blues elder), Mary Lane (Chicago Blues singer), Butch Trucks (drummer of the Allman Brothers Band), Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), Colonel Bruce Hampton, Kofi Burbridge (Tedeschi Trucks Band), and more. In addition to that, I've studied guitar with Dave Manley (Herbie Hancock, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu), Mike Stern (Miles Davis, Brecker Bros, Jaco Pastorius), Tim Miller (Mick Goodrick, Randy Brecker, George Garzone), Norm Zocher (Jerry Bergonzi, Bob Moses, Esperanza Spalding) and many other great players. I've taught people of many different ages and backgrounds. My approach is based on the goals of each individual student, and I do my best to use what I've learned over the years to create meaningful lessons for everyone.

¡Hola a todos! Mucho gusto :) Me llamo Candelaria Coco Borda. Soy cantante de ópera y coach vocal nacida en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Desde 2019, doy clases particulares y en diversas academias a estudiantes argentinos y extranjeros de todos los niveles y edades. En diciembre de 2024, me gradué de la Licenciatura en Artes Musicales con Orientación en Canto en la Universidad Nacional de las Artes de Argentina. Si bien mi formación es principalmente desde el ámbito de la música académica, a lo largo de estos años he estado en contacto constante con otros tipos de formación y entrenamiento para diversos géneros musicales. Por lo tanto, mis alumnos pueden cantar diversos estilos musicales, ya que en mis clases no solo trabajamos el entrenamiento auditivo y la técnica básica, como el apoyo respiratorio, el control de la respiración, la colocación y la afinación. También trabajamos la fusión de todos los registros y aprendemos a cantar correctamente, a hacer agilidad, twang, usar la voz de cabeza y el falsete, y recursos vocales como la nasalidad, la voz aireada y raspados desde lo teórico pero llevado y plasmado en ejercicios. Mi principal objetivo como profesora es dar a mis alumnos las herramientas para que puedan expresar todo lo que deseen con su voz de forma saludable y que también puedan desarrollar en las clases su musicalidad y su autoconfianza. ¡Nos vemos en clase!

Además, escribo y canto mis propias canciones y tengo una licenciatura en Restauración y Conservación de Arte. Considero el arte como una forma de cuidar y expresar nuestro Ser. He asistido a talleres y seminarios de canto en Brasil y Argentina. I´m a Vocal Coach and I teach what I´ve learned over more than fifteen years, with several teachers and investigations about anatomic and physiologic bases of the vocal technique. Moreover, I write and sing my own songs and I have a degree in Conservation and Restauration of Cultural Heritage. I consider art as a way of taking care and expressing our being. I´ve attended to Seminaries and Workshops of vocal technique in Argentina and Brazil.

I'm an Anglo/ Italian Soprano with over 17 years of singing experience and am based in the UK and the South of France. My singing career includes performing in front of the Monaco Royal Family and private events with Aston Martin. With my passion for music and desire to forge new sounds, I have created a number of my own pieces which have included the merging of the classical world and modern genres. My unique technique enables the singer to create richness and depth to their voice, expanding their range and capabilities whilst maintaining their stylistic identity. In just a short time, I can assist you with developing your sound whilst releasing tension and discomfort. I also specialise in being able to add flexibility, height and comfort to your vocals. I also have a technique which can help those struggling to find strength in their voice when public speaking or performing. Vocal fatigue is something that is very normal but can also be prevented through specially guided warm ups and techniques. My 2 decades of intensive classical training has meant that I have spent many many hours researching and exploring my own sound and voice, resulting in me knowing exactly where each note should be placed. Once this technique is adopted you will be able to sing any genre with ease at any given time.

My name is Ellen Priessman and I am a piano, saxophone, clarinet, recorder and theory teacher. I hold ABRSM grades in each instrument and the theory. I love the experience of making music and the joy it brings to people. I have taught pupils of varying ages; from children as young as 4 to older people in their 70s. No two pupils are the same which is part of the love of teaching for me. I get a lot of satisfaction if I can help pupils to achieve whatever it is they want to achieve; whether it is a small ambition such as playing Happy Birthday in a primary school assembly or a larger one like passing their music exams. I studied for my music degree at the University of Winchester (or King Alfred's College as it was then called). I have taught privately since 1997 and have had many exam successes with my pupils. The lessons progress at the pace of each individual pupil; I can adapt lessons to suit each pupil. Everyone is different and some will learn faster than others. I introduce sight-reading early on as this is a skill which will be useful in many ways. Aural skills are also a part of lessons as listening is an essential part of learning and playing music and in other areas of life as well. I always encourage pupils to ask as many questions as they need to; I would rather have a multitude of questions than a pupil who is struggling with something and is too worried to mention it. I will set you pieces or technical exercises to practice between lessons though I do understand that day to day life gets in the way of practice from time to time! If you would like to work towards any graded exams this is something I am experienced in and there are various examination boards available for us to use or if you just want to learn for fun that is fine as well! I am more than happy to teach pupils with special needs and have had several autistic pupils before. I have one pupil who is deaf and another who is blind which goes to show disability really doesn't stop you doing something if you put your mind to it. I use ABRSM or Trinity for exams but I am happy to use other boards if preferred as there are several options now for music exams. I am also happy to do one-off lessons if needed; it may be that you need just a double check or an extra practice for your sight-reading or aural skills for example. I am also the Musical Director for a local theatre company which is great fun! I have also played for school Nativity plays and helped with school orchestras as well.
