¡Hola! Soy Arnaldo Farias, profesor de idiomas con más de 30 años de experiencia enseñando inglés y español. Nací en Venezuela, con mi familia peruana y actualmente vivo en la República Dominicana. Estudié en el Pedagógico de Caracas la carrera de Lenguas Extranjeras, y desde muy joven comencé a dar clases a jóvenes y adultos. Aprendí al principio inglés de forma autodidacta —escuchando y escribiendo las canciones de cantantes y bandas de los 70, 80, 90— y más adelante estaba viviendo en Nueva York, aprendiendo aún más la lengua y sus expresiones culturales. Mis clases están diseñadas para principiantes e intermedios, y combino una estructura clara, material personalizado y un enfoque comunicativo. Me gusta enseñar desde el idioma del estudiante, porque sé que eso facilita el aprendizaje. Además, explico el idioma desde su origen cultural, lo cual ayuda a que lo entiendas de raíz y lo recuerde para siempre. Me apasiona enseñar porque enseño como me hubiese gustado que me enseñaran a mí: con paciencia, empatía y atención a cada duda. Nunca me molesta que me pregunten; de hecho, me encanta que lo hagan. Repito las veces que sea necesario hasta que el estudiante entienda y se sienta seguro. Trabajo especialmente con adultos, profesionales y universitarios de Estados Unidos, Reino Unido y otros países angloparlantes, ayudándolos a avanzar con confianza. Me motiva ver la cara de alegría de mis alumnos cuando logran entender una conversación, pronunciar bien o "soltar la lengua" por primera vez.
