Hello! I’m Getrude, a passionate educator from South Africa, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education degree in Mathematics for senior and FET students. I bring several years of online and in-person teaching experience, having worked with diverse learners, including those with ADHD, where I provided personalized support and built engaging lessons that make learning enjoyable. Fun fact: I love exploring the outdoors, and I believe a fresh perspective can bring as much excitement to the classroom as it does to a hiking trail! In my classes, I focus on creating a welcoming and supportive environment where you feel comfortable to ask questions and explore new concepts. I break down complex ideas in ways that are easy to understand and make learning feel engaging and fun. Every lesson is organized around your specific goals and learning style—whether you need to reinforce fundamentals or tackle advanced topics, I’ll adapt my approach to suit your pace.
