Te cuento un poco cómo son mis sesiones: - están enfocadas 100% a hablar en inglés, soy bilingüe con acento americano neutro, así que esto es como tomarte un café con una amiga que no ves hace mucho, - preparo un tema nuevo semanal para guiar con preguntas y apoyar con videos o artículos, - la idea es corregir primero los errores básicos e ir ganando vocabulario y a medida que avanzamos, pulimos frases más elaboradas, - las sesiones son en inglés y sólo cambiamos a español si veo que hay mucha dificultad en entender algún concepto o vocablo, - cada semana les planteo preguntas para que puedan trabajar fuera de clase (no es tarea y no es obligatorio, pero cuanto más hagan, más rápido avanzan), - además, entran a una lista de difusión de (NO es un grupo) en el que tienen recursos extra como videos, documentales, artículos, y preguntas sencillas que pueden contestar con un audio de voz o mensaje escrito como práctica extra (sin coste extra).

My name is Tutor Renee. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, although my professional background is in Marketing and Communication. I am an online English teacher and have been for three years. I teach both children and adults. I have extensive experience speaking and writing English, having headed various companies in their marketing, sales, and communication departments. I love making English fun and simple. I ensure that my students are confident enough to speak and write English. One of my main accomplishments is that about 80% of my students who I have taught Conversational and Business English - particularly for job interviews - have performed very well. My students excel and pass their IELTS and TOEFL exams. I use simple PowerPoint presentations, whiteboard sheets, YouTube videos, and articles. I use topics that interest my students. My emphasis is on my students speaking as much as possible to help develop fluency in speaking English. I focus on both oral and written skills. I speak slowly so that my students gain a good understanding of what I am teaching. I also use simple stories with hand gestures to make it easier for my students to visualize and engage with me. My classes are very interactive, fun, and memorable.
