Hello, my name is Sofia and I am a TEFL-certified Eglish tutor, who uses personality test to make lessons highly individualized and most effective for each student. I teach adults, kids and teens who already know some grammar and vocabulary, but feel shy or afraid to speak confidently. If you want to know about me, I am also a dance teacher for kids (so I like kids a lot), I love psychology, classical music and romantic stories. Also, I have been to 30 different countries and I know from my own experience how English can save you during traveling. As I love psychology, I use it to make lessons highly individualized I give a personality test to each student to find the best individual approach. For example, if you are introverted, a bit shy and you like arts, we will make our lessons calm, creative, and I will ask you different questions to help you speak. But if you are extroverted, active, easily bored, then we will switch between activities a lot, we will play different "language games" and use a lot of videos and pictures to make lessons fun. I find an individual method for each student:) 2. I am patient and I can easily explain things over and over until the student gets it. I don't critisize or raise voice at my students because I underdstand that learning a new language is hard and everyone has a different way of thinking. 3. Every lesson is built around your goals, interests, and real-life needs. No unnecessary grammar. No dry textbooks. Instead, we use: - Vibrant visual materials - Videos, roleplays, and real-world dialogues - Interactive games and TV-show scenes - Topics chosen by you or your child And most importantly — all of this is structured to help you make real progress, not just to entertain.
