La madre es francesa y el padre español. La familia reside en Alemania, lugar en donde los padres trabajan, y donde se conocieron.
Las vacaciones se reparten entre la Región Centro Valle del Loira y algún lugar de la Costa de Andalucía.
Cada verano, entre bromas e insinuaciones, la familia española repetía la queja: “Estos niños van a terminar perdiendo el poco español que hablan”. Había cierta preocupación (preocupación cierta) de que los niños acabaran ignorando por completo la lengua de su padre.
El verano pasado fue muy distinto. Los niños mayores sorprendieron con el progreso de su español a la abuela de España, a los tíos, a los primos, en el encuentro veraniego anual.
El otoño anterior Lottie, que así se llama la madre, decidida solucionar esta carencia de sus hijos, y de paso poner fin a las “bromitas” familiares de cada verano, buscó en la RED y contactó conmigo.
Tras los 10 primeros meses de trabajo online transcurridos entre septiembre y julio, los dos mayores, 12 años la niña y 10 el niño, habían mejorado su español de manera notable.
Año y medio después de empezar, la niña y el niño tienen un excelente español hablado y escrito, acorde a su edad. Y con la ayuda de Lottie, con el más pequeño, de casi 6 años, hemos comenzado sus clases de español.
