Hello, I'm Shelley. Currently, I'm an enthusiastic, patient, optimistic and outgoing Chinese language teacher. I've obtained the Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (CTCSOL), which is issued by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation under China's Ministry of Education. I used to be a middle school English teacher and have been deeply involved in the education industry for over 30 years. Now, I'm focusing on Chinese language education. I enjoy customizing my online Chinese courses based on each student's goals, transforming linguistic knowledge and cultural essence into easy-to-understand and engaging content, thereby effectively stimulating students' learning enthusiasm and enhancing their learning outcomes. My ultimate teaching goal is to joyfully witness you confidently communicating in Chinese, understanding Chinese culture, and continuously pushing your boundaries during the learning process. I believe that language serves as a bridge for communication, and within the classroom, it should be a place filled with positivity, encouragement, and support. Based on your learning objectives and interests, I'll design lively and interesting content to make learning Chinese no longer a tedious task but rather a journey full of discoveries! Outside the classroom, I'm full of curiosity about Chinese culture and exploring the world. Depending on your different proficiency levels, I'll bring in 1-2 points of interest to the class, such as local cuisines, diverse ethnic cultures, and so on. I'm more than happy to share this passion for life with you. I'm looking forward to meeting you, exploring the Chinese language world together, and having a blast with Chinese!
