I am a native speaker of Arabic, and I received extensive education in Arabic throughout my formal education. I learned English as a second language, and I speak it at a native level. I start every learning journey with each of my students with a thorough assessment of their unique goals, needs, learning styles and preferences. I then design a suggested learning plan based on this assessment, which I discuss and modify with my students, to ensure that learning is a cooperative process. I use structured and effective methods of teaching both receptive skills (listening and reading) and expressive skills (speaking and writing), in addition to grammar, vocabulary and functional language. I create a shared document with each of my students to keep a detailed learning record, and I create audio files of the learning material to help students practice with correct pronunciation. I use authentic reading and listening material, that matches the materials that students are likely to encounter in real-life, and the unique interests of each student. I incorporate regular practice and revision of previous learning, and I provide regular feedback to my students, and ask for feedback regularly to ensure an effective and enjoyable learning process. .I strive to make the learning journey enjoyable and rewarding for learners, starting from our first lesson.
