My name is Ting Jiang, I graduated from Nanjing Normal University in the major of English with Bachelor degree and Zhongguo Renmin University in the major of Human Resources Management with Postgraduate degree. Actually I have more than twenty years professional working experiences after graduation. I ever occupied several jobs in some Global Fortune 500 multinational companies such as IBM, PricewterhouseCoopers, etc. Hence it provided me several chances to work with so many foreigners from western countries. I also worked as senior trainer in company and I need to train the managers in Chinese and English. I ever had a dream to be an International Chinese teacher several years ago and of course I have the confidence to be a qualified one with my relevant working experience, pretty good presentation, communication skill and understanding for different cultures of countries. And I can spread Chinese culture all around the world very well. I am also an extrovert, diligent, trustworthy person with passion and enthusiasm. Regarding to my hobbies, I am good at singing, dancing and some sports activities. And I am really anx- ious to be an International Chinese teacher with my interest and characteristic.

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a professional Chinese teacher with many years of international teaching experience, and I currently live in France. I am a certified teacher holding an Advanced International Chinese Teaching Certificate. I taught Chinese to international students for five years at a university in China, and later taught Chinese courses for three years at a university in the United States. Teaching students from different cultural backgrounds has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and my classes have always been very well received by students. My professional path is also quite international. After my teaching experience, I completed a Master’s degree in accounting in the United States and worked at PwC in Boston. I later moved to France and obtained a Master’s degree in Accounting from ESSEC Business School. These experiences gave me a deep interest in cross-cultural communication. Currently, I am also learning French myself. This experience helps me understand very well what adult language learners really need. 😉 Many traditional textbooks are either too childish or not very engaging for adults, so in my classes I prefer to use materials that are meaningful, interesting, and intellectually stimulating. 😊 In our lessons, I first take some time to understand your level and your goals. Then we design learning materials together based on your interests, including reading materials, videos, and conversation topics that are both interesting and challenging. My interests are quite broad. I enjoy reading (both fiction and non-fiction), traveling, music, philosophy, history, art, and culture. These topics often become great conversation material in class, helping students improve their Chinese in a relaxed and natural way. I believe language learning works best when students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. Every lesson is adapted to your level and your interests, whether you are a beginner or already have experience learning Chinese.
