Hello! I am Kelvin, a passionate and experienced Maths tutor with over 14 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I hold an MSc in Applied Mathematics and a BSc in Physics, and I currently teach at an international school. I offer online lessons worldwide, ensuring a safe and trustworthy learning environment for students of all ages.
With over a decade of experience, I have developed a teaching style that is flexible, supportive, and tailored to each learner's individual needs. I take the time to identify each student’s natural learning style—visual, auditory, kinaesthetic, or intrapersonal—and adapt my methods accordingly.

1. Master the Fundamentals.
Mathematics builds layer by layer, so I ensure students have a solid understanding of key fundamentals before moving on to more complex material. Whether it’s algebra, geometry, number work, or calculus, we revisit core topics to strengthen understanding and eliminate confusion.
2. Structured, High-Level Exam Preparation.
Once the fundamentals are secure, I introduce structured exam preparation tailored to each board (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, IB, Cambridge, etc.).
My exam-focused teaching covers:
* How to analyse and interpret exam questions
* Time-management strategies for timed papers
* Step-by-step methods for solving problems
* How to structure answers for full marks
* Exposure to progressively challenging past papers
This combined approach ensures students not only understand the content but can also apply it under real exam pressure.
